What we measure

We count how many times each profile is shown, and where those views come from, so each therapist can tell whether the directory works for them.

  • Which pages are shown, and whether you stayed at least ten seconds.
  • The region and city, from the connection. Never the exact address.
  • Where you came from: a search engine, a social network, an assistant, or a direct link.
  • What you searched for in the directory: the filters you chose and the place, stored as codes from our own list. Never the text you typed.
  • Whether you tapped a contact button, and which one.

No therapist sees who visited their profile. They see totals of views and visits, by day and by month. A visit is one browser counted once a day. The breakdown by region or by source appears only at five visits or more.

To count a browser once a day, and not a person, we store a code worked out from your connection and your browser with that day's key. The key changes every day and is deleted an hour after that day has ended everywhere in the world. The code cannot be reversed, and once the key is deleted it cannot be worked out again.

The record of each visit is deleted after 90 days. Backups keep it for as long as the backup lasts. Daily totals are kept.

We also measure how long each page takes to load and settle, with a script from Cloudflare, which already serves the whole site. It sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, or you have pressed the button below, it does not load.

If you would rather not be counted, press the button. We store a cookie that says no, for 13 months, and nothing else.
