How we verify
Documents, dated
No profile goes live without passing these five checks.
| What we check | Document | Validity |

| License | License number and the authority that issued it | Verified with a date. |
| Degree | Qualifying university degree | Verified with a date. |
| EMDR training | EMDR training certificate | Verified with a date. |
| Insurance | Malpractice insurance policy | Active with an expiry date. It stops counting at the next update once it lapses. |
| Identity | Identity document | Verified with a date. |
The identity document is never shown, linked or described anywhere on the site. We use it only to confirm the person behind the profile is who they say they are.
The date on each profile is the last time we checked these documents. It certifies they existed and were valid that day, not a clinical outcome or a promise about the future.
