Who I work with
Trabajo con adultos y adolescentes desde los 15 años que consultan por ansiedad, ataques de pánico, duelos o experiencias que siguen doliendo aunque hayan pasado años. Muchas personas llegan después de haber hecho terapia: entienden lo que les pasó, pero el cuerpo sigue reaccionando igual. Atiendo online, en español y en inglés.
What a first session with me is like
La primera sesión es una charla para conocernos. Me contás qué te trae, qué esperás de la terapia y cómo estás hoy. No hace falta que llegues con nada preparado ni que cuentes todo. Al final te explico cómo trabajaría con lo que me contaste y decidimos juntos si seguimos.
Why EMDR
Elegí EMDR porque permite trabajar recuerdos difíciles sin tener que revivirlos una y otra vez en palabras. La Organización Mundial de la Salud lo recomienda para el estrés postraumático, y en mi práctica veo que ayuda a que lo que pasó quede en el pasado.
